Probably not. It is unlikely that you will have any desire or need for a cigarette. If you are one of the few that does have a desire to smoke, play the program again immediately and you should be fine. On the longer term you will have mind tools to easily dismiss any stray urges until life becomes as if you had never smoked. It is important, however, to work the program over thirty days to maximize results and minimize the chance of ever smoking again.

What is the biggest problem I will have over time?
The biggest problem will be overconfidence. If in the future you ever think, "It won't hurt, I'll just have one," you will be very wrong. If you light up, even once, you've just made a big mistake. Because the smoking habit is an inner "how to" program and you will be reloading the smoking program in your brain. That's the problem, not the nicotine! What about nicotine?
Honestly, if you quit smoking right now, at the end of about 72 hours there will be little or no trace of nicotine in your blood stream. Once the nicotine is gone, there is no more physical addiction and so lighting a cigarette after 72 hours is a habit problem not a nicotine problem.

Is this why the first three days are critical?
Yes. The mind coaching you receive from the "DRG Master System to Stop Smoking" in those three days will put you well on your way to permanent success. Play "Stop Smoking II" twice a day in the first 72 hours and then once a day, preferably in the morning, for the next 30 days. What if I really want to stop smoking but I get extremely emotional every time I try?
If you smoke to stifle sadness, anger, fears or guilt, it will be difficult for you to stop smoking because you're probably using your cigarettes to escape or stuff your feelings. In this case, smoking is usually a symptom of a difficult life and without clearing the root cause of the emotions, actually quitting smoking will be difficult by any method. To successfully stop smoking you will need to take the time to get the emotions resolved.
